Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM)
- Massive Investment: Launched with an allocation of ₹64,180 crore, PM-ABHIM aims to address gaps in healthcare infrastructure over five years.
- Key Features:
- Health and Wellness Centres (HWCs): A network of 1,50,000 HWCs is being established to provide primary healthcare, including preventive and curative services.
- Critical Care Units: Emergency healthcare infrastructure is being enhanced with critical care blocks in 602 districts.
- Diagnostic Strength: Integrated Public Health Labs are being set up in all districts to ensure better diagnostics and faster treatment.

- New Medical Colleges: To meet the demand for skilled professionals, 157 new medical colleges have been approved, with 70 already operational.
