The Government of Uttar Pradesh and the Ministry of Civil Aviation have finalized the operational readiness for the Noida International Airport (NIA) in January 2026. As the state’s fifth international terminal, Jewar is set to transform the logistics landscape of Northern India.
The airport’s launch is a cornerstone of the “Gati Shakti” Master Plan. By providing a dedicated cargo terminal and seamless rail-road connectivity, the NIA will significantly reduce the cost of logistics for exporters in the Agra-Mathura-Noida industrial belt. This state-level infrastructure boost is expected to add nearly 1% to the regional GDP through increased trade and tourism.
